Upgrade your BCS Tools software to the latest version for enhanced controller configuration.

We are proud to present the new BCS Tools version 3.62, the CODESYS-based software platform featuring a wide range of great new functions for IEC 61131-3 compliant project engineering of all our controllers and PLCs.

The new features in BCS Tools 3.62 include:

  • Added GN-9261 Distributed IO Configurator
    • Configure our G series CANopen Network Adapter in a Graphical Device Configurator.
  • Added BFI CANopen and PROFINET Configurator
    • Autogenerate needed function block, GVLs and settings.
  • Added “Search in Documents” button feature
    • A right click in BCS Tools gives you the option to search for selected object in Documents.
  • Added a command “Compare” in the Restore Points feature
    • It is now possible to compare opened project with a previous restore point.
  • Added a new object with a Wizard to create a POU for MQTT & Datalogger Function Block
    • Reduce complexity by using function block with a configuration approach, map variables, test broker connection, generate code.
  • Added support for updating different versions of runtime systems for X2/BoX2 device
    • Possible to choose between SP13 and SP18 runtime for our X2/BoX2 devices.

BCS Tools, X2/BoX2, Nexto modular & Nexto Xpress compact controller are based on CODESYS SP18 Patch 6.

BCS Tools includes numerous user-friendly functions for the programming and configuration of automation projects and contains fully integrated back-end functions, such as compilers, debuggers and variable trace. Using BCS Tools, an application can be developed, tested and commissioned without any additional tools.
