A customer has reported that they have strange mouse cursor movements on a
TxC when having
a navigational device connected to a serial port. Turns
out that Windows 7 Professional autodetects
the device as a serially
connected mouse.
The workaround is simply to disable autodetection of serial mice with a
registry hack ,go into the registry
and edit the following value:
Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\sermouse
Key: Start
Value: 3
Change Value to 4, which is Disabled and it will stop this
problem occurring.
