largest with an estimated market share of fully 15 per cent.

of Japan.

Products The HMI
sector is relatively fragmented with many players in Europe and the US.
The market is dominated by a cluster of major global corporations like
Siemens of Germany, Schneider
Electric/Proface of France and Rockwell of the US. Regional competitors in
Europe like Omron of Japan, Italy’s Exor and
ESA, and
Pilz of Germany are additional. US competitors include
GE Fanuc, Eaton Electrical and
Horner
.
HMI Products is the fifth or sixth largest
supplier in Europe and the US, with a market share of some 4 per cent. The group
has 15-20 per cent of the Chinese and Taiwanese market through Hitech
Electronics.
