The shipping industry requires the most extreme efforts from humans and materials due to the extraordinary working and environmental conditions that prevail. Beijer Electronics marine products were designed especially to meet these tough conditions as well as fulfilling all the necessary requirements for use on the high seas.

The EPC C2D family was designed with a special focus on operatability and handling in a nautic environment. The dimming to zero was consistently realized via front buttons and remote dimming by serial, USB or LAN interface.

The use of special industry components, e.g. for storage media and cooling systems considerately increase the robustness and system availability compared with COTS devices.
