Multiple languages

The Multiple languages functionality means that one project can include up to 10 different application languages, either for the operator to choose between or solely as a development tool, the developer can:

  • Save development time for applications that will be implemented in different countries: You only need to develop one project.
  • Increase the user-friendliness of your application by enabling the operator to select his language of choice.

All texts in the project are stored in a library and can be exported to Excel, for example, to simplify the translation of the file to other languages, and the file is easily imported back into the project.

A different font can be chosen for each language if required. Any "Windows True Type" font can be selected for use in the EXTER panels, which only supports Unicode based character sets. Unicode is a global standard for character encoding where 16-bit values are used to represent the characters from many of the world’s languages. Unicode has built-in support in Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 2000.
