Alarm management

The EXTER alarm management is used to call the operator's attention to events in the process that require immediate attention. To make the fault finding easier and faster, alarms can be grouped, for example after priority or work area. Alarms are displayed in the alarm list in the operator terminal and can be printed or sent as an e-mail. Acknowledgement of alarms is done from the operator terminal or from an external signal connected to the PLC, allowing for remote acknowledgement. The alarm message can include dynamic values as well as static text and, if more information is needed, a complete block of information can be linked to each individual alarm.
