Real-time clock and Time channels

The EXTER panles have a real-time clock with automatic daylight saving. The daylight saving can be configured to follow European or American standard settings and it is also possible to freely configure it for any country in the world.

Real-time clock

To ensure correct time stamp in both the PLC and the operator terminal, it is possible to synchronize the clock in the PLC with the clock in the operator terminal. The date and the time format can be selected.

Time channels

Time channels is a function for setting and resetting digital devices in relation to the real-time clock. This is used to control for example fans, pumps, ovens etc. The time channels are configured for a 7-days period.
